Borderline

The skeleton on the bench moved, and the bony extensions encircled my neck.

“I killed you several years ago. You are supposed to be resting in your grave”, I barely uttered some words in a muffled voice.

“Do you see that pylon over there? They leave wires open for earthing. And while the trees grew, the electricity did not let the grass grow under my feet. I was in a state of suspended state of animation, planning and plotting fate to bring you here.”

“You are dead. How can you harm me?”

“We are both at the borderline of existence.”
