Bondages dissolved
with disappointments
and trust
taking the exit door
Dependence hurts
the futility of it all
strikes hard
I find myself.
Where was this
beautiful being
locked inside
awaiting release?
Life turns inside
blossoms in the wild
alone, but happy
free at last!

A beautiful ending to your poem.

“alone, but happy” is a place I have understood well, many times in my life. That is indeed freedom.
