Succeed I will …

The palmist did not take a glorious view of my knotty fingers and short nails. He said I was too analytical, too critical and it led to poor interpersonal relations.

I carefully observed the shadow of my hand. The tentacles were good enough to wrap themselves around the throat of criminals. I had encountered so many, who had written me off as non-cooperative and difficult to get along with.

Today, I resigned from my corporate job, and started an agency for forensic research. It was a specialized skill, acquired long ago, but never used. I will succeed, with the same personality traits.

Damn the palmist, and the criminals I worked with!
