She lives in a house with magic mirrors
simulated reality woven with dreams
unprecedented warmth engulfs her
in the gigantic bubble of love and life.
She refuses to acknowledge pricks of reality.

Excellent! You captured this in both image and word. Well done. This also reminds me of a poem I wrote a while ago, “Image”. It is on my poetry page. Hugs,

It is refreshing to find someone that looks in the mirror and likes what she sees, but I hope she is prepared for a much different reception when she walks out the door into the real world. It’s a jungle out there!

Thst is exactly the point. Since she is seeing an exaggerated version of herself, she will never get the same reception.

I have a bit of a fascination with mirrors, shadows, light and darkness all of which feature in the WIP I am currently editing with a view to publishing this year. So this really appealed to me. 🙂

I love this! Sometimes it’s good to leave reality behind and see what you want especially when looking in the mirror. We have to be prepared for when the bubble bursts but what fun until then. Thanks for linking to In Other Words.
