Failed to connect

They face a wall They wonder What are the parents doing? Whoa... There we are... Magic gardens are lonely ... Empty streets Teens... A language we don't understand... Isolation We failed to connect... Are you surprised? https://mindlovemiserysmenagerie.wordpress.com/2019/09/20/where-do-the-children-play/

Beauty

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder – whether external or internal. Nothing could be truer than this. We sort and label stuff as per our perspectives, and store it in designated mental shelves. Changing the classification is not easy. It takes something drastic to happen, to alter a comfort zone. To me, internal … Continue reading Beauty

Individuality

I’ve always been sure of one thing in life – the kind of person I would never ever like to be. Then came the spaces I would never like to be in, and I avoid people who draw me there. The next step was the most difficult, but came naturally to me- discovering my core … Continue reading Individuality

Cryptic

Why do disasters happen? Why does ill luck befall? And why do those good-for-nothings have it all? I am no Buddha, but… a lifetime is not enough to resolve the mystery The Maker speaks in a cryptic code. https://girlieontheedge1.wordpress.com/2019/08/14/its-six-sentence-story-thursday-link-up-68/

Thanks to roller-coasters

Roller coasters start making sense when the churning inside drives one on newer paths. What matters is taking off at a tangent, but the desire for take-off arises only when the comfort zone is disturbed. The new trajectory may take me to another world, but the desire to return to the previous world has weakened. … Continue reading Thanks to roller-coasters

Epiphany

I’ve been facing hiccups in launching a new venture, and in general, blaming circumstances and vendors for the delay. Epiphany struck in a seminar yesterday, when I realized I know nothing, and there is so much more to learn. Entrepreneurial pride is often misplaced. One needs to be a learner all the time. https://onewomansquest.org/2019/07/29/v-j-s-weekly-challenge-59-worth-mentioning/

Eulogy of a rebel

Quite often, I find myself gripped with a death wish. I feel like my existence is not very relevant to the world. Nor do they have anything to keep me happy and contented. I don’t really care about eulogies or elegies written for me. What does matter is that my point of view – spoken, … Continue reading Eulogy of a rebel

Crossover

This is not an original. I'm sharing a beautiful piece by Rob Brezsny here in response to https://reinventionsreena.wordpress.com/2019/06/20/reenas-exploration-challenge-92/ Maybe you rarely celebrate the fact that you can think, but according to my inside sources, the flash of mercurial codes through your brain is among the universe's most dazzling accomplishments. Try to imagine the colossal divine … Continue reading Crossover

Perspectives …..

By Sadje

Sadje's avatarKeep it alive

Welcome again, and always to this space, which has become sacred to me! You may not see it in the same manner. And why should you? Each of us has our own unique perspective on the world and its interesting contents.

Perspectives

Can you see what I see

I can see a glass half full, while it’s half empty for you

I see the world through rose colored glasses

While its gray and black in your eyes

Hanging upside down on strings of a puppeteer

I can see things from a totally different perspective

What is falling in your eyes, is rising to the sky in mine

What is out of balance and ungainly from your point of view

Is in perfect harmony and graceful from my angle

How interesting it would be if you could see my side

And I could visualize your stand point

But then…
