Reena’s Xploration Challenge #412

Welcome to 2026!

Wishing all of you a great year ahead, and hope you had a great holiday season.

PROMPT #412

Here are lines from two different poets to inspire you.

Author: Unknown

“Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.”

J.R.R. Tolkien

Choose any one, internalize it and write from the point where it takes you.

There is no restriction on the length or format of the piece. There is no last date unless you wish to be featured in the Weekly Wrap.

We will not include any posts that are found to be offensive, vulgar or that hurt ordinary sensibilities. This needs to be a safe space.

Create a post on your blog and copy-paste the link in the Comments. If you use a pingback, check to see if it has worked. I have encountered situations where the pingback did not work. As a result, I missed including the piece in the Weekly Wrap.

  1. May we all find relationships that can bring us comfort. Best to all for the New Year!

This verse, a Kimo Puente I wrote for Tanka Tuesday fits both of the poems you shared for inspiration. I’m hoping for a resolution sometime this afternoon in regards to one particular ‘problem’… Maybe I’ll post about it, maybe not.
