A special mention this week is for Dan and Violet.

PROMPT #398

I start the Challenge Week to inspire writers with two quotes.

If the word doesn’t exist, invent it; but first be sure it doesn’t exist.

Music has seven letters, writing has twenty-six notes

—  Joseph Joubert, 1754-1824, French author of maxims

You have a wide choice after this.

  1. Use the letter or spirit of the above two quotes in your piece.
  2. Write a similarly intriguing quote. It can be a single line or slightly more.
  3. Explore the concept of creativity and do a Stream-of-Consciousness piece. Write whatever comes to mind and publish without editing.
  4. Compare art, music and writing and tell us what appeals to you the most.

You are free to adopt one or more of the above ideas.

There is no restriction on the length or format of the piece. An AI-generated picture or a drawing is also fine, as long as it relates to the concept.

There is no last date unless you wish to be featured in the Weekly Wrap.

We will not include any posts that are found to be offensive, vulgar or hurt ordinary sensibilities. This needs to be a safe space.

Create a post on your blog and copy-paste the link in the Comments. If you use a pingback, check to see if it has worked. I have come across cases where the pingback did not work, and I missed including the piece in the Weekly Wrap.
