Tomorrow is the Ganesh immersion day when there are processions with idols on the streets of Maharashtra, creating traffic jams and sometimes other skirmishes.
The Muslim community in Bombay kindly shifted their processions to Monday. The public holiday for Eid is also shifted to Monday, 8th Sep. All peaceful.
But today there is a news item about a threat (could be a hoax) by Lashkar-e-Jihadi about 37 human bombs planted in cars, and that the explosions could kill a crore of people.
The power lobbies that sponsor terrorism destroy all the peace and goodwill that exists at ground level. The common people want to live in peace.

This is very sad news. I do hope it’s a hoax and the festivities pass peacefully. Sending prayers for happy holidays.
