Why do memories
flood terminal, ageing minds
As if there’s nowhere to go?
a rain-soaked picture
blurred views with fading eyesight
relevance in reverse gear
a sharpened focus
to make sense of life gone by
Did they enact the right scenes?
reminiscences
repainting past decisions
for rationalisation
Why do stories change
and we call it dementia?
Sunsets fleet on horizons.
a director’s doll
posing as the scriptwriter
regains power deemed as lost
retrospective views
rebuff verification
Why do spring buds disbelieve?
crystallised crispness
flutters in seasonal tales
autumn resplendence departs

Wow! Marvelous mondo poetry, Reena. I enjoyed each one!
