The Sun shines with greater intensity outside.
My insides are churned by reading and writing Women’s Day posts. I feel compelled to reflect deeper on things I’ve already known, experienced and discussed? Does it give fresh insights?
Words dance to the beat of March madness, and assume different forms on the screen, in the head and on art paper. It is as if they were struggling for release, and have finally found it.
frozen expressions
curtailed by icy blue stares
pink sakuras dance

A philosophically and poetically rich haibun, with a personal touch that resonates. Wonderfully done, Reena!

8th of March will be intense these days… so much is becoming worse these days.

I’m not sure if we really move ahead after all the hoopla generated.

Reena, for me, seeing so much focus on females this March brings a kind of cognitive dissonance, as we’ve been swept under the rug for so long. Good poem.

Reena, I love how your haibun blends personal reflection with the chaos of March. The imagery is striking, especially the sakuras.
Much love,
