Tina stepped backwards as the sky’s colours reminded her of the silken blue sari her arch-rival, Nita, had donned at their last meeting in the café.
She wondered if they envied each other or were circumstantially placed on opposite sides of the fence. Did their rivalry help others win the battle?
“We are the same four alphabets put together in different ways,” was her parting shot.
Today, Tina is compelled to think that her words carry profound wisdom, like the stories stars tell after watching the world from above.
May her soul rest in peace! Let us forgive each other.

A clever write. Any element of truth in this little story?

I love that their names are ambigrams of each other – so clever! I noticed after Tina said “We are the same four alphabets put together in different ways.”
Love the message, Reena 🙂
