Grief is
inability to accept change
Pain is
suppressed protest
the world is in a state of transit
there are no ends and beginnings
what I grieve most
the end of a dream
what I resent most
usurpation of future
Whatever comes again has changed.
cycles are rationalisations
I assume continuity
that is where I fail
I want to control the future.
Forecasts and trends fail.
roller coasters train life
experience from different angles

I know some people think it’s useful, but I can’t imagine who first got the idea that people react in one way to all “change” as such. There are changes that bring joy and changes that bring grief. People who grieve when a family member dies welcome the spring weather.
