Why did she not do today
whatever she did every day?
But then she did it again
and then once again….
till the breaks in pattern
formed a new pattern
Is it a black hole
Or a precipice?
Is it fear or rebellion
or just boredom arising
out of all things nice?
exceptions define the rule
then become the rule
only to refine the rule
systems inspired by
day and night
movement of planets
play of light
-a thunderbolt
-an earthquake
-volcanoes break
let lava flow
become a part of systems
what sustains the world
is raising questions
to craft a path ahead
-despite uncertainty
-despite ridicule
-be a beacon
not a mule

Your words made me focus more deeply on different parts of the painting. It’s interesting how our minds connect with each other’s works!

I found it difficult to choose one painting. The breaks were a similar pattern.

Her paintings are beautiful. I especially like the ones she paints of space.

Love the last two lines, Ma’am. Also I read somewhere today, we could be doing whatever we did but for how many days?

As long as we live, or as long as we don’t think 🙂
