“Was whatever Julia said so offensive that you cut off the relationship?”

“Well, it’s never one thing, but a series of offending incidents where one leads to another, but then something happens to become the last straw on the seemingly friendly back, and the first nail in the coffin of an association.”

“Do you feel strong enough to carry the coffin for a lifetime?”

“I’ll bury it alongside many others – relationships are not forever.”

Eileen emerged stronger from this setback, but it appears that the ghost returned from the graveyard.

Julia has filed her nomination papers from the same constituency where Eileen has been a corporator for the last two decades.
