I’ll mark the time of sunrise and sunset to see if day and night are equal. It appears to be such a myth, placed on this side of the equinox.
The Chinese Yin-Yang fascinates me. It depicts a perfect equilibrium which is not easily found in nature or real life. Invisible forces in the same or different spans of time cast a shadow.
Yes, the Earth and Sun go their own ways on predetermined routes, but is there a guarantee that they always will. I wait for the aberration, the surprise which lets me know someone is still tinkering with the system to improvise.
Why not have a new season, or the power to choose seasons?

One thing is for sure: we fit into nature, not the other way around. Nature does what it does, never mind humanity. We will learn humility in the face of what’s to come.
