Bridges are fascinating
especially
when they lead nowhere
it makes me curious
about the charms of nowhere
and underestimate the ground
that feels trampled beneath my feet
why is it so defiant?
Bridges are addictive
They impart a sense of achievement
of having crossed chasms or oceans
when all that lies below
Is deception
It makes me feel worthwhile
At least for a while
Bridges are needed
to connect people and geographies
to carry trains and trucks over valleys and waves
which sometimes become watery graves
It makes me think it’s possible
to connect mindsets
even if they lead nowhere

Bridges are fascinating and even when they seem to take us nowhere, we are somewhere.
Thanks for joining in, Reena.

As Björn said, hopefully nowhere becomes somewhere. I suppose we are always on the bridge.❤️

Great insights.
I especially liked, “and underestimate the ground

Bridges to nowhere is an interesting thought… as if the mere crossing is what’s important… and maybe in the process nowhere becomes somewhere.
