I am questioning my own credentials on seeing Jim’s Friday Faithfuls prompt.
I publish on 4-5 platforms, while this blog on WordPress remains the favorite. I often cover 600-700 days of daily publishing at a stretch. The continuity breaks when I travel and do not have access to the internet. Lately, I’ve started missing a day deliberately so it does not become an addiction.
I need to ask myself why.
- I feel compelled to let out whatever is churning inside me
- The prompts give a push
- The interactions make me come back to the site again and again, which I may not do on other sites.
I write on the following subjects –
- Finance
- Banking
- Training
- Women Empowerment
- Fiction
- Poetry
In the past, I’ve done blogs on Personal Grooming too.
Sometimes, I wonder if I’m spreading myself too thin and I lose credibility on a few platforms.
I often delete some parts while sending out a profile for a gig, so that it gives a more focussed picture.
In future, I’d like to focus on a full-length book on Money Habits. I’ve already done parts of it, and need to make it a comprehensive whole.
It will mean cutting short time spent on blogging, but poetry struggles to find a release from my restlessness out in the open.
Let’s see which way it goes.

Wih you all the best for your book, Reena. Whatever inspiration I find is only from your prompts and your posts. Thanks a lot for that.

Blogging is rewarding if you have the time for it and I enjoy your Xploration Challenge a lot, because I never know what to expect from it.
