Cause of confusion

deflated
due to lack of
recognition

meaning
which escapes
known cognition

confusion
caused by difference
intent and interpretation

tossed out
by legal eagles
they demand documentation

Note:

I keep telling new hires in companies not to use emojis in business communication. Incidentally, I came across this video today which supports my stance and shows the source of inspiration behind this piece (other than the prompt image).

  1. No more use of emojis for me. Great message in your poem. I use emojis so much—I’m fighting the compulsion of pressing one to show my appreciation of your fine poem. You know the hand clapping one? I might have used that. I write a smiley face in place of it.

  2. Brilliant, unique take, Reena. Legal egales and documentation reminded me of Justic Sarang’s 70+ pages report about Rhea Chakrborty’s bail report. OMG, how he played with words ( Finance) and their meaning in Oxford Dict. Please read it,of course, if you have that much time to waste.
