stagnant in darkness
refusing to surface
searching a corner
cursing brightness
shunning all values
questioning knowledge
clarity fumbling
sanity weeps
reason abandoned
weakness ugly
eyes closed
sinister images
daylight hours
nightmare follows
purpose questioned
breathing painful
and then a terrible
numb feeling
so much too little
high on confusion… but

darkness too begins to hurt
options still seem so few
the light’s also vague too
questions and questions
no answers too

combine the two
but then how too…

let the darkness flow
with the help of light

… meditate…

perhaps it’s that moment
when we combine the two
we might just realise
dark and light
are friends not foes
together they work
to help us…
