believe in peace, not compromise
anything less feels like a death
one dies so many times to live
for what’s called larger interest

power equations fall or rise
believe in peace, not compromise
I need my space in this world too
I’ll get it without harming you

why does the challenge feel so huge
accept I am I, you are you
believe in peace, not compromise
and why should it be otherwise?

we clash because you want my space
but for each of us there’s a place
let’s not break bonds, but galvanise
believe in peace, not compromise
