simple truths, the golden egg
fascinated all

nestled royally
in its golden orb, gentle
breeze whisper its call

drawn to its power
enchantments to capture, greed
ruled many a mind

as the story goes
true minds of virtuous souls
shall this force command

many moons later
the golden egg lays nestled
in its golden sphere
