Saturnine

darkness deepens
as saturnine instincts
of inmates
gather steam

Are they violent, evil
jealous or depressed?
Are they buried
under their own issues,
or hate me enough
to attack, to vilify
for no reason?

Whatever the cause
I can’t find the Sun
daylight just disappears
darkness deepens
