And then suddenly…

A pause,

A shiver,

A tremor,

and then suddenly there wasn’t any fear,

any fear of consequences,

any fear of good and bad.

and then suddenly there wasn’t anyone to blame,

blame when things don’t our way,

blame when we are perceived wrong.

and then suddenly there wasn’t anyone to rely on,

rely during tough and easier times,

rely for own consolation.

and then suddenly there wasn’t any belief,

belief in known and unknown,

belief to choose or deny.

A pause,

A shiver,

A tremor,

and realisation dawns,

in goodness i see God,

God lies within,

within you and me.
