One moment, 

that's all we have

Just one moment …

I've lived and loved, 
laughed and danced.

I've planned beneath 
twilight skies, 
watched sunsets 
and sunrises with 
warmth in my eyes.

I've dreamt
of tomorrow 
and the years 
to come too.

A creature of routine
for years, and then 
you wake up one morning 
and your whole world 
disappears. 

Life stops by every
so often to remind us
that nothing is 
guaranteed. 

So, I go to bed 
every night 
praying 
for one more day.

I get up every morning 
thanking 
for another day
and that's how 
the cycle runs. 

For if there's one thing
I've learnt, 
in the grand scheme
of life, is that
we can never 
learn enough… 

Never plan further 
than you can blow 
a single breath. 

These words have
never been more
trueuntil now….
