I think of warmer climes
in loving hearts
sun-blessed landscapes
in other geographical parts
winter’s a boon
for my solitary art
I collect autumn leaves
read their stories
immortalize experience
in textured charts
we won’t be strangers again
when the sun shines
I know how sultriness
makes my skin pine
for icepacks and glow
summers packed in snow
décor and recipes
cherished physicality
fires that light my soul
live seamlessly
celebrate endlessly
it’s individuality
