Fake beauties…

Written for Reena’s Xploration Challenge #260

You adorn your black
with a subtle shade
of silver. Itshould have
been glitters ofgold,
you know.
Yes,you know!

You leave these
gaps, hide behind these
fancy ornamental spheres,
fake beauties, but,
you know I see through you. 

You disguise your
identity, ashamed of
the injustice you
executed?
Toppled worlds and
destroyed foundations.
The destruction you
brought to me and mine
 

Look me in the eye,
and see the emptiness.
Peek into my heart
and see the broken
pieces.
Touch my soul and
feel the absence
of its essence.

Forget not though,
dear friend ~like me,
you hang by a fine thread,
and soon you will fade
into the mist as
another comes to be.

I take the honor of
filling the gaps
for you.
