The three brothers Jerry, John and Joseph were all sentenced to 20 years in prison for smuggling drugs in from Mexico.  The triplets were cursed from birth, doomed to a life of crime, being poorly educated, and living in poverty.  Their dad disappeared when they were young and shortly after their mom was put behind bars for credit card fraud, so they became victims of the flawed foster care system having to deal with multiple guardians, advocates, social workers, courts and all the other BS.  Some of their foster parents were abusive and they felt unwanted and struggled with many other issues.  They decided that they would stick together, no matter what trouble they faced and anything that happened to them, just made their bond much stronger.
