if I could mend my heart

the doorway to hope

I would scry on the wind and search for answers

falling through a funnel

I’ll still wait and hope

someday I will marry

everything makes sense

years of hurt and pain but then learn my lesson

decry the injustice

with right frame of mind

avenue to freedom

doesn’t hurt to try

if I find the right one and he finds me too

we’ll make the most of it

hope is always there
