Invisible strings. The bonds we weave #poetry

It begins with a phrase that stirs the mind
eyes twinkle, mischief lingers on smiles
first strings of curiosity
when intrigue bewitches hearts
instinct blindfolds reason
and puppeteers play
till you’ve fallen
dancing tunes
time once
scorned

feed
thy soul
with caution
For desire, it
yearns

Free
my bonds
to your fear
Connect us with
Love

aches
shake minds
while in hearts
emotions quake
Dams strung to control
for minds and hearts are tamed
but souls are meant to be free
they tag and groan against all strings
for they know what puppet love becomes…
just trickles of the Waterfall within

drifters out at sea
one afloat, other drowning
saving you, saves me
