The beginning and the end of our lives

Is the same for all, prewritten, predetermined 

We are born and then we all die at our fixed time

There hasn’t been a different start or ending 

For any mortal till the human race has existed 

What is important, is what happens in-between 

How we reach from one end to the other

What transpires in this journey is what’s vital

Our choices, our decisions change the path we travel 

The destination doesn’t change but the journey does

We all will die, but some will leave an indelible mark

On the canvas of life, remembered for long!
