Get lost

An old woman rambles on about her life – though the stories have lost relevance to others.

Writers pick up a notepad at midnight, to prevent loss of whatever springs up within them.

What you do not visualise clearly before you want it, gets lost.

Yet, there’s so much I would like to lose and replace with newness.

In my quest to create a new world, I must drop the old one, and accept the uncertainty in between.

It is only the inner world that never gets lost – though it may change in the manner one reviews, reshapes and rewrites it.

  1. Excellent, Reena. “In my quest to create a new world, I must drop the old one, and accept the uncertainty in between.” Love that line.

Agree with Chris about the late night notepad scribbles. Worst is when you read them the next day and can’t understand your own handwriting πŸ™‚
