Time stole his most prized possession ….by Lady Lee

THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “New Bathing Suit” by Terri Kirby Erickson: lotus, lap, little, memory, my, made, water, wrists, window, flap, floating, fill
Time stole his most prized possession
He filled his time with nonsense things
Floating, running with no strings
Little did he knows need expression
Time laps
He’s still in the water
Flapping up and down
With water lilies and lotus
Then doing silly things
Not a care in the world
He’s made his bed living like kings
His window’s full no cohesion
Doing stuff with no reason
No useful memory that rings
And then one day
He knows it’s too late
To bring back the time
His youth is gone
His memory is blurred
His wrist’s weak, so is his body
Dapat di nya sinayang
Ang oras
(he shouldn’t have wasted his time)*
