“This is my car which was stolen, a couple of days ago…”
“Why should it be up there?”
“The criminals are threatening to blow it up, unless I pay them a certain amount.”
“Have you informed the police?”
“I don’t want to. I would like to ground my teenage son for some time. The friends he ferried in the car are not all above board.”
“Hmmm…”
Two weeks later, the car number figured in a drugs-related crime investigation. Harry was able to prove that the car was stolen, before the incident happened.
His son has migrated to another country.

Sounds like a wayward son that needed to get away before he got in too deep

Sounds like a rough area to life in. Best that he left in the end.

Let’s hope the son hasn’t migrated to a country that’s big into exporting drugs . . .

Not a happy family. Grounding wasn’t enough.
