Support women by all means, but competent ones. Choose those who’ve been overlooked for other reasons. If you hold power, hold space for them.

Accept men as mentors

You are not the only one. All those men you see at the top are mentored by other men. It is just that maximum power is held by men on corporate structures.

We need to keep moving till women are seen in larger numbers at the top.

Don’t be afraid of standing out

I saw dislike in people’s eyes whenever I offered to do something that other women shied away from. Being one of the masses will give you short-term acceptance in social groups and nothing more.

Let others deal with their sense of inadequacy. We’re not here to make everyone comfortable.
