Well, I had fun playing around with online tools and doing this one. Thank you, Peter. for hosting this one.
Here’s the pantoum I wrote..
not going anywhere’s an art
just going round in circles
…but worlds are what they are
for they go around in cycles
just going round in circles
manipulate eyes to see, agree
for they go around in cycles
trick them to see miracles
manipulate eyes to see, agree
sunlight swamps your world
trick them to see miracles
where actually it just trickles
sunlight swamps your world
not going anywhere’s an art
where actually it just trickles
…but worlds are what they are
I generated a circular word cloud to get a shape poem, but it’s not a poem at all. Sharing just for fun 🙂
MTB: Coming full circle

I think the art of going nowhere means you actually have to move all the time… it’s like balancing on your toe tips

Agree. Staying at the same place is also going nowhere. Thank you, Bjorn!

I like the conclusion you draw and your shape form is bright and cheerful.

I had a professor once tell me “don’t just do something, stand there!” Sometimes the space we give allows the matter room to act and grow. Lovely pantoum

“Not going anywhere is an art” If that is true, I am a prolific consummate artist!

A lovely pantoum (it’s a popular form this evening) – and some lovely wry word play – ‘tricked’ and ‘trickles’, ‘circles’, ‘cycles’ ‘miracles’ – and I so like what you’ve done with the extended spacing in the last stanza – giving each line its own air – as if after all the repetition, here’s the conclusions. Super piece.
