Suffer humiliation in your space, but
I wait – on the threshold of time

Give me remnants of a stale moment
I ask – on the threshold of time

Why did I not value you before?
I think – on the threshold of time

The one who kicked the world to action
today crawls – on the threshold of time

If there is justice in His court
We’ll meet – on the threshold of time

दे मुझे एक टुकड़ा बासी लम्हा
माँगता हूँ वक़्त की दहलीज़ पर

था ज़माना ठोकर में जिसके
रेंगता है वक़्त की दहलीज़ पर

गर नहीं उसके घर अंधेर अमित
मिलेगा तू वक़्त की दहलीज़ पर
