A busy day ahead
promises made
earlier in the week
come back to haunt….
How do I say
my priorities are different today


I open other windows
while listening to the speaker
on a webinar
I feel obliged to attend…
I also need to scan recipes
for a special dinner


I recall the luxury
of a designated office
when folks at home
managed on their own
Why do I seem available, when 
there’s loads of work to do…


Is one ever free
from expectations
Can one march alone
towards salvation
I like to, I can’t, I may….
