She stands alone on the banks of a river. The water has a reddish tinge, not blue. A red moon rides on the humps of the low river hills. The dark figure with multiple limbs is fast approaching her. A human turning into an octopus perhaps, like those werewolf movies she had seen ….
She jumps in the water to escape him, and the water turns a deeper red.
The dream ends at this point. What is it that happens beneath the surface of water?

Inspector Ruhi is in the news for arresting a serial killer. Her smile beams on national TV channels, as she accepts the bravery award.
The octopus suit he used to wear is found on the beach. The name of his last victim is Ruhi, rumour mills say.
