Why don’t we listen
To the voice of sanity and reason
Willfully ignored because we can’t be bothered
We are either arrogant or ignorant
Of the danger that lurks in the shadows
The result is all too evident
The infection spreads, no containment
Prolonging the need for isolation
The folly of some costing precious lives
What’s the price of a few weeks of quarantine
