Fairy Tales

The garden fairy looks lonely today.

Her friends have not come out to play. The air is clean and pure, but plants and flowers are wilting a bit, despite it being spring. They need water, and the service guys haven’t been too regular.

Something has changed about the world. The Fairy Queen knows, but does not reveal too much. Her enigmatic smile is intact.

“Keep doing your best. The world will go through its own cycles.”

“Should we continue to help the humans?”

“Yes. Or they will stop believing in you, and that would be disastrous.”

Inside, Little Mick woke up with a smile,

“Mom, Fairy says school will start soon, and we can all go picnicking.”
