Reena’s Exploration Challenge #130 — Same as it ever was

Once in a Lifetime made me think of the song by Talking Heads with that for the title. The lyrics in the song examine a person’s life through the choices and their responses to those choices. The song could be a template, where you could customize it with the experiences you’ve had based on your choices and the questions those choices and experiences raise. The reality is that each moment of our lives is a unique, converging intersecting opportunity, where our choices shift the configuration of the all. I think they call it the butterfly effect. I used to think that minutely examining past moments and trying to troubleshoot and learn from them was the most valuable thing to do to have a better quality of experiences in the future. The shocking realization that the now was being left out of the equation hit me hard right between the eyes…
