The Pill

If the music didn’t get any better he was going to the take that pill Kelsey kept offering him. 

The only reason for his presence in the auditorium was the temptation of mind-blowing music. Someone said it is better than the ‘highs’ he was getting used to. But he felt nothing.

This was the only place that did not cancel the concert despite health warnings. So, it should have been extra special. But he felt nothing.

And Kelsey? He wondered what her hidden motive could be. She had snubbed his advances before.

Life is so difficult at times. It is difficult to choose between the Devil and Deep Sea.

“Hey, that guy has fainted. Carry him out immediately. Not sure what kind of disease it could be.”

He found himself quarantined, longing for the music and freedom. He shouldn’t have taken that pill.
