Indira pulled out two wonderful pieces of poetry from her saved drafts, and I decided to translate it for you.
English
you cannot fit me in frames
small, big
triangular, square
crooked, straight
I will move out
dissipate in the air
you cannot stamp me
Hindu, Muslim
Sikh, Christian
Buddhist, Jain
or anything else
human am I
follow humanism
burn me, hang me
poison me
in the name of religion
rituals, orthodoxy
you cannot kill me
I’m not just a mortal
but a mix of elements
wind, water
wun, Earth
endless
beyond incarceration
only those who see me
as a personality
outside boundary lines
will understand
A dilemma
I needed space
to live in others’ hearts
to accommodate others in mine
to spread
to disperse
self and others
to feel expansive
to spread my wings
and fly
love of the kind
which binds
in slots
-is it enough
to let a personality
blossom

Reena’s Exploration Challenge #99- Frame

Brava on ‘Frames’. What a wondrous painting your poetic fine and broadstrokes paints. Hues illimited, with a frameless frame indeed. Thanx for all you do. Have a good day 🙂 reality
