Waiting Posted on September 17, 2019 by Reena Saxena I feel in my bones wheel of time slowing down and wonder where will it take me? I want it to speed up take me to happiness Why am I condemned to abject misery or a vacuum? I want it to go slow if I see disaster looming on the horizon I want it to reverse when I think of happy days quickly rolled by undervalued unnoticed why did I not know it will not last forever it happens again as I fail to see what’s happening around me I breathe but fail to live only to think what happened when years have rolled by we wait because we fail to live in the present we wait because hope and fear suspend life Waiting for a poem… Share this: Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp TweetLike Loading...
kaykuala we wait because hope and fear suspend life One is often rewarded by not being taken by uncertainties. Not being disturbed or confused in mind will offer more options as it tells us to think straight. Good option Reena! Hank LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I always feel that we waste all the good moments in life waiting for something better… it seems to be a human flaw… LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
The present may be something we had waited for – but it is not valued when it happens. LikeLike Reply

we wait because we fail to live in the present absolutely! The futility of always waiting for the thing that will make the difference. A great take on the prompt, Reena. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
