Writing Posts

I am not an expert, but I have been doing this for a while and I have written over 1,600 posts on my blog.  I don’t have a specific formula for writing, but as the American radio speaker and author Earl Nightengale once said, “Everything begins with an idea.”  When Louis Pasteur felt that sudden flashes of insight don’t just happen he said, “Chance favors only the prepared mind”, so staring at a blank page or a blank computer screen is not going to help you write something.  The award-winning journalist William Souder said “There’s an old saying that great writing is simple but not easy, and so it is”, thus you shouldn’t spend too much time trying to describe every detail, thinking of bigger words, and attempting to sound more erudite.
