The two sentences for the prompt this week are fairly simple, and yet not so simple.

This is where I lost myself

This is where I found myself

Unconsciously

I entered the forest

as if in a haze

in a haste

to explore as much as I can

quickly

and in the process

got lost

There is so much to get lost

In the forest called life

I was unprepared

Didn’t know the jungle rules

When panic subsides

Calmness takes over

I turn back

I find

The way to go back is the same

which brought me here

the same will

take me to where I have started

Time wasted

Lessons learned

To find

I have to start again

but this time

with consciousness
