Lessons from the past

“But why is the answer more books? The future is digital.”

“These books tell the story of Vishwakarma, the guy who made the Pushpak Viman (an aircraft in ancient times). The art and science was lost, till the Wright Brothers invented a new version. Vishwakarma also made an attempt at creating a virtual world. Brahma (Creator of the Universe) obstructed the venture, as he thought it interfered with his monopoly of creation.”

“What do we gain by the story?”

“Lost wisdom, lost ethics and lessons from his failure.”

“I wish he had at least created a digital capsule to save the story for future….”

“Maybe he did, and hid it somewhere on another planet…”

“That sounds interesting.”

“There is always something to learn from the past, irrespective of the medium.”
