Business as usual

I took a course in spirituality.

I’m at peace, as a divine light shines upon me, and highlights doorways previously hidden from sight. Of course, I would like to go to the other end, but I fall. The teachers say I’m not ready as yet. It will take some more cleansing, some more struggle to reach there.

I don’t like falling with a thud, from the heights I’d assumed I reached …. till I realize that it is all about placement of the ladder. It can move goalposts to suit their plans.

It is their business as much as mine.
