Sharing

Sharing is noble, but never selfless.

I can share only if I have a surplus. I share because the happiness I see in the recipient partially comes back to me. I share because it enhances my image and self-worth. I share because it satisfies my ego.

I may also share, just because I love, and the other person’s misery reflects back on me. So, I do something to reduce it. I share because I enjoy the camaraderie. I may also share in the hope of receiving a positive response in future, or to repay an outstanding debt. It makes me feel free and even.

If I do not want something, and give it to someone, is it unburdening myself, charity or sharing?

me and mine will
never go all out of
life ‘s equations
