End of the story

Gunshots are not something one wants to start the day with, but it is routine in this part of the country.

I am told that shooters practice their sport, for participation in the ensuing Olympics. It’s not easy to believe, this being a Naxalite area, but there is no other option. I’ve been advised to stay indoors as much as possible, and not get involved with the locals. But how do I complete the book, without knowing local stories?

So, here I am – out in the morning, to find a few friends. They are celebrating a victory – of killing someone suspected to be a spy.

The hero of my story is dead, and my life is in danger.
